Comparing "I Am Legend" To A Song

The song, "All By Myself", by Celine Dion, is one of Celine's most popular pieces, and has been used as background music both comically, and dramatically. 

 The lyrics that relate to the protagonist of I Am Legend (Robert Neville) are: 

 Don't wanna be all by myself
Anymore
All by myself
Don't wanna live

These lyrics are a perfect example of how Robert Neville feels being the last un-infected man in the world; all by himself, and not wanting to live alone. Evidently, the lines in the song are repeated constantly to really impose the tragedy of the situation into the listener's mind.

    I think the song that you have chosen relates very much with the story, "I am Legend", but I'm pretty sure we had to post something about a book we read at home personally not one that we read as a class.
