Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is the final book of the Harry Potter series written by J.K Rowling. It ends with Harry, Ginny, and their son, Albus, at platform 9 3/4, about to board the train to Hogwarts.

Harry, Ginny, Ron and Hermione disappeared through the brick wall. It was all a blur in the muggle world, and they barely noticed that the four adults had magically appeared in the train station.
"Harry, Ginny, if you were the sorting hat, where do you think you'd place Rose?" Asked Ron.
"But I'm not the sorting hat, am I, Ron?" Said Ginny, rolling her eyes.
"There's no way of knowing. She could be in any house. I can imagine her being in Hufflepuff, though." Harry said.
"Well, being the daughter of two trouble-making Gryffindor students, who managed to fight off a troll, a three-headed dog, break into the chamber of secrets, play in a life-or-death chess game --" Hermione was briefly interrupted by Ron.
"And not to mention assist in starting a war that will go down in history." Ron added.
"Sorry about that." Harry said, grinning.
"We really did have the most eventful time in Hogwarts, didn't we?" Said Ginny. "I still remember the day when I came downstairs to have breakfast, and I saw Harry Potter, the Chosen One, the boy who lived, sitting down next to my idiot of a brother, eating an omelette." Ginny laughed.
"Don't act like that wasn't the best moment of your life." Ron said.
"Are you kidding me? I was terrified." Ginny replied.
Harry and Hermione exchanged glances and laughed as they listened to the siblings bicker and quarrel.

Wow, what a pleasure to read. I like how you extended the limitations, is this your own activity? I wonder what it is called...? What do you think happened after this scene? What would Harry, Ginny, Hermione and Ron do? Would they leave together? As JK Rowling mentioned somewhere in the series, Harry wishes to be an auror. Does he become this? How about Hermione, is she a wizarding author of some sort? :) And Ron, does he work with George helping out with the Store? And since Ginny doesn't need to take care of the children, what does she do to pass time? How about Mr and Mrs Weasley? What do you think happens to everyone, after Fred, Lupin and Tonk's death? How do they cope. You could continue your fanfiction as a sequel to Harry Potter! That would be very interesting to read!

I'd like to imagine that Harry, Ginny, Hermione and Ron went on their own mini adventure while their children attended Hogwarts. As for what J.K Rowling wishes for the characters' future, I believe it's up to the reader to imagine what would happen next after the final Harry Potter book.
DeletePersonally, I'd enjoy it if J.K Rowling wrote a continuation of Harry Potter that revolved around his children (the new generation of Potters, Weasleys, Longbottoms, Grangers, etc.) and the mischiefs they get up to during their time at Hogwarts.
I'm suffering from severe writer's block at the moment, so I'm afraid a continuation of this fanfiction will have to come later. However, for my coming post, I am thinking of starting a new fanfiction with a different storyline rather than a casual conversation between everyone's favourite Harry Potter characters.
